Agricultural production is highly dependent on the amount of water available for irrigation. This has become particularly pronounced in recent years as agriculture faces changing rainfall patterns and extreme weather conditions such as recurring droughts and rising temperatures.

Tests of watering cultures with PBS-treated water compared to untreated water demonstrate that plants watered with PBS-treated water show faster growth; germination and growth were accelerated by approximately 10 days.

The use of fertilizers in agriculture ensures faster and better vegetation. By watering with PBS-treated water, faster growth and higher yields are achieved without the simultaneous addition of fertilizers.

Simultaneous application of fertilizers and irrigation with PBS-treated water increases the efficiency of fertilizers, as the plant is enabled to utilize the applied fertilizers more intensively.
